| "Not just another hotel" Grand Hotel Philadelphia is a unique initiative of the Philadelphia Care Foundation (Stichting Philadelphia Zorg), which is a national network-based organization providing advice and support to people who need care, regardless of cause, disability or age, in order for them to live their lives as independent as possible. Under the guidance of a team of professionals from the catering industry, young persons with a minor mental disability can take part in a learning and working project in our hotel. They work in the kitchen, the bakery, the laundry, housekeeping, and at the reception. The goal of this project is that young persons can acquire certificates with relevant labour market value, on which basis they can get a job in the regular labour market. A job coach of Philadelphia will support the youngsters in the project and will help them finding an appropriate job. |

| Grand Hotel Philadelphia offers 20 very spacious guest rooms, which are available in 3 categories: standard, superior and deluxe. All our rooms are equipped with a double bed, a bath and a separate shower, and all other facilities that you might expect of a 4 star hotel. No two rooms are the same, because of the unique architectural style of the building! Some rooms have access to our roof terrace and/of have their own balcony. In 2006, all the guest rooms will be equipped with Internet access, a mini-bar, and a safety deposit box. It is also possible to order a newspaper for the mornings during check-in. Grand Hotel Philadelphia has 2 style rooms at its disposal, which can be booked exclusively for dinners, lunches or closed meetings. The maximum capacity is 12 persons. |

| Gastronomy: Grand Café-Restaurant Philadelphia is a culinary establishment where you are welcome from 7:00 AM in the morning for a nice breakfast. From Monday to Friday the cafe-restaurant is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During lunch time, you can enjoy a meal salad, a ciabatta or chicken sate dish, but also a 'Toast Philadelphia'. On nice summer days you can sit on our cosy garden terrace. In short, Grand Café-Restaurant Philadelphia is a versatile and informal meeting place for your business appointments and your private meetings in a relaxed atmosphere. You can sit at a table, at the long Bar or in the Lounge in one of the black leather Chesterfields. Hospitality and quality have the highest priority in our hotel! |

| Leisure: Grand Hotel Philadelphia is set in the historic shipping-quarter (Scheepvaartkwartier) in the centre of Rotterdam, a few minutes away from the Meuse and the famous Erasmus bridge! The hotel is an outstanding operating base for discovering Rotterdam. This modern city has a lot to offer: besides the world renowned ports, it also has many things to offer in the field of architecture, art, culture and sports. Many museums can be found within walking distance of the hotel: the World Museum Rotterdam with the childrens museum "De Reiskoffer", the Maritime Museum, "Boymans van Beuningen", the "Kunsthal" and the "Nederlands Architectuur Instituut" (Netherlands Architecture Institute). You can also pay a visit to the recently renovated "Euromast", which is near the hotel. You can also reach many touristic attractions via the water. The water taxis on the quay of the Meuse are only a stone's throw away from the hotel, and the Spido round-trip boats are ready to transport you over the water. Of course you can shop in Rotterdam to your heart's content. There are even some ‘shopping routes': there is something for everyone! |

| Itenerary By car: Coming from The Hague/ Utrecht: Take the exit "Centrum" (nr. 25) on the motorway A16. You will now enter Rotterdam via the "Maasboulevard". Follow the signs for "Centrum/Erasmusbrug" and then the signs for "Spido". Once you have passed the entrance of the Erasmusbrug, turn to the left into the "Van Vollenhovenstraat". Our hotel is located at nr. 48-54. Coming from Dordrecht/ Breda: Follow the motorway A16 in the direction of Rotterdam. Just before Rotterdam you take the exit nr. 24 "Feijenoord". Now follow the signs for the "Erasmusbrug". Cross the "Erasmusbrug" and at the traffic lights you turn to the left, in the direction of "Spido". At the next traffic lights, you turn to the left into the "Van Vollenhovenstraat". Our hotel is located at nr. 48-54. By public transport: * Take the train to Rotterdam Central Station * From Rotterdam CS you take tram line 5 in the direction of "Willemsplein". Get off at the stop called "Vasteland" and walk into the "Van Vollenhovenstraat". After approx. 50m, you will see our hotel. Parking: In the entire shipping quarter ("Scheepvaartkwartier") there is payed parking from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM (you can only use your EuroMastercard to pay for the tickets at the machines). Near the hotel, you can park in the Erasmus parking garage (underneath the "Erasmusbrug"). After 6:00 PM you can park in the "Parklaan", which is approximately 5 minutes away from the hotel. |

After a thorough renovation of 3 classic buildings, our hotel has been created. It offers 20 large rooms, a Grand Cafe Restaurant, 2 private dining rooms, an own bakery and a "take-away" sandwich shop. Grand Hotel Philadelphia is not an ordinary hotel! The hotel is a training project for mentally disabled young people, who are getting experience in the various departments of the hotel. |
